About Us

Santiago and Chris

We started off almost 10 years ago as two humble friends who shared a passion for business and exploration outside of the United States. One project after another lead us down many paths over the years until we finally found it! What is it? You guessed it... Nicaragua! I know what you are thinking... revolution, rebel gangs, guns, and violence, right? Wrong!!!!

We quickly learned it is the foreigners misunderstanding of this country which makes it a hidden gem, with naturally preserved and majestic beauty. It is a dreamer's paradise and is considered to be an undiscovered wonder of the world. With the majority of the country uninhabited, nature is at your fingertips. As an American and a Nicaraguan we have always had different perspectives on life but somehow this country's magical energy aligned our thoughts and dreams which turned into the vision we now have today. "To change the world's perspective of Nicaragua and put it on the map as a top surfing destination, is what we are here to do! " We will do this by creating job opportunities for the local people of Nicaragua and allow them to show off their beautiful country and culture because nobody knows Nicaragua like they do!

Waterfall

SurfNicaWaves.com is a unique, all inclusive surf camp located in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua and we are proud to have one of the only local teams to the area. These extremely talented surfers will go out of their way to show travelers their pride and heritage. They want people to remove their false illusions which come to mind when they think of Nicaragua. They want you to come and enjoy life the way it is supposed to be lived, the way they have been living for many years without being spoiled by mass population and development....without all the hustle and bustle and distractions which we face each day in the States. With 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation surfers who surf every day all year round, we have the key to unlock the most private beaches and the knowledge of surfing which can be broken down to a science allowing for even the most novice person to jump on a board and be surfing in no time.

Yoga

We strongly believe in mind, body and soul, because we know balance is the key to within. Being in a remote part of the world allows you to disconnect from what you know on a daily basis and reconnect to yourself. You will only eat fresh and organically grown foods from local farmers and your meals will be prepared daily by our in-house chef. Our Yoga instructor will help you to rejuvenate your body after a long hard day's work of, laying in the hammock, gazing into the Pacific Ocean, and enjoying a cold drink in between surf breaks.

For the surfing advocates and experts we have a boat and captain who knows the coastline like his own backyard, because that's what it is! Hunting big waves and surfing the best breaks is a daily activity and now is your chance to take advantage of this amazing week long, all inclusive package with a jam packed agenda to give you the best vacation possible without you having to worry about anything except which color bathing suit to wear, if you want to wear one at all. With the private and secluded beaches you will feel as if you have left the planet and entered another world where time simply does not exist. So on behalf of our entire team of surfers, yoga instructors, chefs, chauffer's, guides, teachers, captains, story tellers, and bull shitters, we would like to invite you to come experience ecstasy on earth.

Welcome to Nicaragua!
